Onboarding

Choosing a technology partner in banking and financial services is about more than just software—it’s about finding a team that understands your industry, products and challenges, works alongside you and ensures your long-term success. At Stacc, we don’t just deliver modern software solutions; we are on a mission to move the financial industry forward and deliver with dedication, integrity and excitement at every step.

Implementation principles

Having done hundreds of credit journeys for more than 40 years, with more than 280 customers (including multiple Nordic Tier 1 banks), we have developed a set of learnings on how to implement with managed risk. We call this the Stacc way and reflects our recommended implementation approach. It is based on four principles:

  1. End-to-end
Start with a small scope, but preferably an end-to-end process. No big bang, but a set of waves divided into appropriate end-to-end packages (including front-end/customer journey, credit process and core). This approach reap business rewards early and creates pride in early wins. Furthermore, starting with the standard that is “good enough” often helps prioritising configurations and integrations.

  2. Step-wise approach
Focus on working end-to-end solution for first delivery package (for example “Move mortgage), then add additional flows/products based on the established highway process. This approach makes the defined waves/scope easier to adapt and implement in the organisation. It also features process design and architecture that builds on the benefits of earlier phases.

  3. Joint scoping before each wave
Take stock on priorities and scope before each new wave. Implementation projects mature over time – leading to different priorities than at the beginning. A joint scoping phase at the start of each wave ensures a common understanding of what is to be done, and make development, delivery and testing more effective. This approach fosters continuous learning and adjusting on the way to ensure efficient prioritisation.

  4. Common goal and measurements
Set baseline and common goals for the implementation project, tracking both business value and leading indicators across commercials, operations, risk and compliance. This approach ensures common understanding of the target, focus on the achievements and celebrates wins.
