Stacc traces its roots back to 1999 when the consulting company Reaktor spun off its Navision Financials business solutions development unit in a separate company named CVision. During 2007 – 2009 CVision developed a loan and leasing servicing platform as an industry vertical addon to Microsoft Dynamics NAV. In 2010, Reaktor with daughter companies, was sold to the Swedish consulting company Knowit. CVision continued to develop its platform adding operational leasing in 2012 and deposits in 2015.
In 2016, Reaktor-founders Geir Hamre Nordrik and Henrik Lie-Nielsen, together with long time Reaktor employees Dag Alvern and Torgeir Thomassen, bought 75% of the company and created a vision for a modern and agile financial services platform company; stacc.
